Hi, I’m Melody Vu, a photographer originally from Montreal, Canada, now based in Keene, New Hampshire after moving here in January 2026 with my husband.
Photography became part of my life through music. As a musician myself, I started by taking photos at concerts and performances, especially while following my husband’s work with the Apple Hill Center for Chamber Music community in Nelson, New Hampshire. Apple Hill hosts beautiful summer chamber music concerts in one of the most unique settings in New England, and it inspired me to start capturing live performances, artists, and the atmosphere around them.
At the same time, owning and managing a rental property pushed me to learn real estate and interior photography. I wanted to create images that made spaces feel warm, inviting, and authentic, which naturally expanded into photographing homes, businesses, and creative projects.
Today, I combine both worlds: the emotion and storytelling of music photography with the technical attention to detail needed for portraits, events, branding, and real estate work.
My style focuses on natural moments, clean editing, and creating a relaxed experience for clients. Whether I’m photographing a live concert, a portrait session, a wedding, or a property, my goal is always to create images that feel genuine and timeless.
